Quinceañeras

Welcome to the celebration for the quinceañeras. It is important for us to provide this service and that you may take part in our communinity.

Our celebrations are community which means that it is in group of more than one quinceañera and no more than four per celebration. The celebration can be in Spanish or Bilingual.

The following are requirements to make the celebration more significant to you and to the parish:[/vc_column_text]

Be a registered member of this parish. If not, fill out a registration form.

Fill out the application for the celebration at the parish office 3 months in advance.

Turn in a copy of the baptism and first communion of your daughter.

The total cost is $ 600.00 (per girl) that will need to be paid one month prior to the celebration.

The cost of the choir and flower arrangement are not included. We have a list of choirs in our parish.

The quinceañera will attend a retreat (on a Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) and the parents must attend the lst talk. The retreat consist of 5 talks and lunch. The talks are as followeds

1. “The Significance of the Quinceañra and its Roots.”
2. Who am I?
   This Presentation will help you rediscover yourself.
3. Who is Jesus?
   An encounter with the Son of God. Most important talk of the retreat.
4. “The role of the Woman in our society.”
   One look at the future.
5. “My youth and the values.”
   The richness of our traditions.

The parents of the quinceañera will promise to sign their daughter for Confirmation classes (if they have not done so). Attend five masses with their daughter before the celebration. This paper will be given on the day of the retreat or the day of the rehearsal. The rehearsal will be the Friday prior to the celebration, at 6:00 p.m. 10. The day of the celebration the quinceañera must be half a hour early. The quinceañera team of St. Frances of Rome is avaible to guide and help your daughter in her praperation.
